History
In 1987 Jamie began his career as an engineer at Mirlees Blackstone Diesel Engines in Hazel Grove, Stockport. However, after a little over a year, he discovered his true passion woodworking. When the chance arose to become an apprentice cabinetmaker with a local bespoke furniture company, he made the career switch while also earning qualifications in Production Engineering. Seven later, equipped with cabinetmaking credentials and extensive experience in crafting bespoke kitchens, bedrooms, and other furniture, Jamie felt it was the right moment to launch his own bespoke furniture business. In August 1996 Jamie founded his bespoke kitchens and bedrooms business. Armed with his hand tools, power tools, and a couple of workbenches, he set up shop in a quaint industrial unit at the Old Brickworks in the charming village of Pott Shrigley, Macclesfield, Cheshire. Now, after 29 successful years and in response to the growing demand for truly bespoke handmade kitchens, bedrooms, and home furniture, the business has gradually expanded into neighbouring buildings at the Old Brickworks. It now employs several highly skilled craftsmen who design, manufacture, and install luxury bespoke furniture using a blend of traditional and modern techniques.
