From the South West – From M6 Northbound exit at Jct 17. Take the A534 to Congleton. At Congleton take the A536 to Macclesfield. At Macclesfield follow signs for Stockport and the A6. This road becomes the A523 (Silk Road) heading towards Stockport. Follow the A523 for c. 4 miles. At the 2nd set of traffic lights (The Legh Arms) turn right into Brookledge Lane, signposted Pott Shrigley. After c. 2 miles pass Shrigley Hall on left and come to Church on right. Bear left onto Bakestonedale Road sign posted Old Brickworks. Follow this road for approx. 1 mile to the Old Brickworks and we are on the on the left with free parking opposite.





From the North – From M6 Southbound exit at Jct 20. Take the A50 towards Knutsford. At Knutsford take the A537 to Macclesfield. At Macclesfield follow signs for Stockport and the A6. This road becomes the A523 (Silk Road) heading towards Stockport. Follow the A523 for c. 4 miles. At the 2nd set of traffic lights (The Legh Arms) turn right into Brookledge Lane, signposted Pott Shrigley. After c. 2 miles pass Shrigley Hall on left and come to Pott Shrigley Church on right. Bear left onto Bakestonedale Road sign posted Old Brickworks. Follow this road for c. 1 mile to the Old Brickworks and we are on the on the left with free parking opposite.





From the South East – Northbound on the M1, exit at Jct 29. Take the A617 to Chesterfield. At Chesterfield take the A619 to Baslow. At Baslow take the A623 to Chapel-en-le-Frith. At the roundabout turn right onto the A6 towards Chapel-en-le-Frith. Leave the A6 and enter Chapel Village. Pick up the B5470 heading left towards Whaley Bridge. Traffic lights at Whaley Bridge, go straight across heading towards Macclesfield continuing on the B5470. After c. 4 miles (if you get to Rainow turn around you have gone too far) turn right, signposted for Pott Shrigley, onto Bakestonedale Road and follow for c. 1 mile into the Old Brickworks.
